Situated on a 4,000 m2 plot at the western end of the Chamonix Valley, Chalet Peter Pan is considered one of the most beautiful properties in the region.
This elegantly restored Savoyarde farmhouse was originally built by Piedmontais hill farmers between 1775 and 1777. It was a working farm for the best part of the next 200 years, before becoming an auberge in the 1940s. During World War II, the chalet served as a hostel for a large number of child refugees, evacuated from the large towns. Inspired by the happy stories of the house’s young wartime guests, many of whom returned to visit after the war, the auberge was named Peter Pan after JM Barrie’s character who did not want to grow up.
Chalet Peter Pan offers breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif and a degree of privacy seldom experienced in Alpine resorts. The property sits on the edge of a nature reserve, at the foot of some of the best hiking trails in the region, yet only a few minutes drive from the local ski lifts.
This beautiful chalet has 3 double rooms, 1 independent apartment and a very large dorm room and can accommodate a total of up to 13 people. All bedrooms can be arranged in single or double beds configuration(except for those in the dorm room) allowing maximum flexibility for group travellers and families.
Each of our chalets are available to stay in on either a self-catered or fully catered basis. Our fully catered service includes your own private chef who can create you a personally tailored menu for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner throughout your stay. Sit back and enjoy their sumptuous culinary creations as our attentive hosting staff keep your glasses filled, ensuring that you have the most incredible dining experience possible.
Of course if your stay with us is on a self-catering basis, there may be times when you simply feel the urge to have someone else cook for you. If that is the case, we can offer you the option of adding on the services of one of our talented private chefs and hosting staff from as little as one night or day.
Perhaps your stay with us is because you’re celebrating something special? Why not consider making it even more special with a fantastic five course dinner or maybe you prefer to have a filling breakfast made for you each morning? Speak to your concierge to discuss all the options available.
