#Outdoor hot tub
Chalet Amanjena is a great choice for a larger group of friends or family who prefer a more traditional style property. The owners have used lots of original timber and luxurious furnishings to create a beautiful six bedroom chalet with a traditional Savoyarde feel.
Chalet Amanjena has a large terrace with stunning views across the valley to the pistes beyond. The large hot-tub on the deck is the perfect place to finish your day. The chalet also benefits from a sauna and spacious boot room on the ground floor.
The stylish open plan living area with large fireplace flows through to a spacious dining area with large sliding doors to access the terrace which has the hot tub for relaxing after your days skiing soaking up the views with a glass of bubbles in hand. There is outside seating available too for when the sun is soaking the terrace in glorious afternoon rays. Not a bad spot to catch the sunset too.
Internally there are six very comfortable and homely en-suite bedrooms split across two floors for 10 adults plus 2/4 children. On the first floor off from the living and dining area, you'll find bedrooms two bedrooms, one of which is double and the other can be either double or twin. Making your way upstairs you'll discover the other four bedrooms. Bedrooms 4 & 5 have access to their own top floor balcony which offers panoramic views of the mountains. Bedroom 6 on this floor is a fixed double, the rest can be split if required.
The word Amanjena means "peaceful paradise", which we think it describes this beautiful chalet perfectly.
Our enviable catered chalet is the core of our business: all our inclusive ski holidays are renowned for excellent service. When you stay in one of our fantastic catered ski chalets, you’ll have access to a team of experienced chefs, hosts and drivers who are available to anticipate your every need.
Amanjena has been welcoming Chaletowners guests since 03 Sep 2020.
Our catered prices include accommodation, breakfast, afternoon tea, children's high tea (if appropriate), and drinks and canapés before a freshly prepared dinner on six nights. Wine, beer and soft drinks are complimentary throughout your stay.
The menus served in our chalets reflect this and we think would be best described as delicious, imaginative and freshly produced. Our head chef oversees all of our chalet chefs, ensuring that our guests receive the best quality food and dining experiences. At breakfast, look out for home-made yoghurt with freshly made compote, an array of cereals and pastries, along with various cooked daily specials such as Eggs Benedict or pancakes. Mouth-watering home-made cake or biscuits for afternoon tea to keep you going until dinner. To start off your evening perfectly, sip on a Kir Royale around the roaring fire before sampling your chefs mini culinary creations such as Tempura King Prawn with Chilli, Lime & Coriander or a Braised Beef and Blue Cheese Croquet. Our chefs are all experienced and will be able to cater for dietary requirements. These can be discussed prior to arrival with your Chalet Host. If you have any special requests over and above what is included, we will endeavour to accommodate your needs, but this will be at an additional charge. Our wines are all carefully selected and chosen to compliment the food we serve. Your chalet host will recommend wines at the start of each meal, however we understand wine is subjective and you will probably have a favourite! We are delighted to continue working with the Languedoc winemaker Paul Boyer as well as local wine suppliers in the Alps, Le Verre Gourmand.

The property is in a very peaceful location, but also close to Méribel town centre which is just a few minutes walk away if you prefer to stretch your legs rather than use our driving service operating daily between 8am and 8pm, with a dedicated driver shared between two chalets, who works very much as part of the chalet teams.
In the morning your driver will be on hand to get you to the slopes at your requested time and in time for any lessons. Throughout the day guests will be able to contact their driver directly if they would like to be picked up anywhere in the Méribel area, whether from Méribel Village at lunch, La Chaudanne at the end of the day, or the Rond Point after a spot of Après.
I give permission for my name to be shared with the host of Chalet Amanjena, Meribel. When communicating with properties via Chaletowners, you agree with the processing of the communications as set out in our Terms and conditions. For safety and quality control reasons, we strongly recommend communicate through Chaletowners.
