#Fireplace
After a busy day exploring the French Alps, you'll be glad to return to this stunning split-level detached chalet, set over three floors, with plenty of room for eight people (maximum six adults).
Built at the foot of the Col des Aravis, it offers spectacular views over the Etale pistes and towards the Beauregard plateau. The lively village of La Clusaz, with its market, shops, bars and restaurants, is just 2km away, and it’s just 250m to the Transval ski lift, so you’ll waste no time getting on the slopes.
The architect and interior designer have worked together using high-spec soft furnishings and appliances to ensure the property and its contemporary interior reflect the fabulous mountain setting.
All the comforts you need are here, as well as the practicalities - such as a double garage, home office space, laundry and ski store.
Quality furnishings and fabrics have been used to great effect in this charming lodge, with natural materials such as slate and wood teamed with fur throws and contemporary lighting.
The front door takes you to the top floor of the house, where you will find an office area and three bedrooms - two doubles with showers, dressing areas and balconies, and a twin room with washing facilities and a separate toilet. All of the double beds can be arranged as twin beds if you prefer.
The master bedroom has the lower ground floor to itself, as well as a sumptuous bathroom, shower, dressing area and an office. There's also a separate toilet.
The main living area is on the middle floor - a cosy sitting area and a large dining table open on to the spacious terrace, with stunning views of the mountains. In the summer, it's a great place to soak up the sun or enjoy a barbecue. On cooler evening, curl up on the sofa in front of the central woodburning stove. There's also a spacious fitted kitchen which has everything you need to cook up a feast, from a full roast dinner to a raclette.
At the end of the day, relax over a meal in a local restaurant, or perhaps a barbecue and a glass of wine on the terrace of your chalet as the sun sinks behind the Aravis peaks.
Before and during your stay, enjoy our bespoke services, including bakery deliveries, home chefs, half-board and Savoyard snacks, so you can make the most of your holiday.
We’ll connect you directly to the chalet host, your contemporary concierge who knows the chalet and can help you plan your entire trip. Chalet host is available in English.

Keen skiers and boarders need waste no time getting to the slopes from this La Clusaz chalet - the nearest ski lift is just 250m from your door. From here you have the fabulous ski fields of La Clusaz and Manigod at your disposal, more than 200km of snowsure pistes ready and waiting, via Le Gotty or L’Etale.
The ski bus stops just 50m from Aravis Lodge. Floodlights on some slopes mean you can ski into the night, and the weekly torchlit descent into La Clusaz is unforgettable!
A wide selection of trails means cross-country skiers will be spoilt for choice, while non-skiers can try the local ice rink, swimming pool and sledge run, or strap on some snowshoes and take to the mountain paths. With all this on your doorstep there’s no need to venture further afield, but if you want to try something different, Le Grand Bornand is easily accessible, and Chamonix is within easy reach for a day out.
There’s no time to be bored when you spend your summer holiday at Aravis Lodge. Hike into the Col des Aravis, or to the base of the Via Ferrata from the front door, and you may spot chamois or marmottes on your way to witness the magnificent views across to the Mont Blanc chain from the various view points along the Col.
Let the telecabine ferry you and your bike into the mountains of La Clusaz or Merdassier, so you can come back down at your own pace. You can hire donkeys from a nearby farm for a day’s trekking, or try horse-riding, climbing, and paragliding.
