Chalet L’Arpege is a stunning, newly built ski in/ski out chalet, situated at the bottom of the Hulotte piste, next to the Morel chairlift at 1600m level in Méribel. Arranged over four expansive floors, this exceptional chalet offers guests spacious and stylish accommodation in a superb location.
The interior architecture is quite simply stunning. In particular, the focal point is the stairway, which sweeps through the chalet from top to bottom, with beautiful curving steps and glass panels. Clever use of internal windows means the chalet is flooded with light on all levels giving it an airy and spacious feel.
The living area is on the first floor with a wonderful open plan living/dining area, which opens on to both a balcony and large wraparound terrace from where guests can enjoy the exceptional views of the mountains. To the lower ground floor, the chalet also boasts a state of the art home cinema room and games area, complete with table football table. Also on this floor, guests can relax and unwind after a day on the slopes in the stunning Jacuzzi, which is unique in design and surrounded by wonderful teak wood floors.
The spacious Master Bedroom is on the ground floor with en-suite bathroom, as well as an adjoining bunkroom for children. Three double/twin bedrooms are on the second floor, two with en-suite shower and one with en-suite bath, all with access to their own private balcony. Two further twin/double bedrooms, both with en-suite showers, are on the lower ground floor and complete the accommodation.
We are wonderfully passionate about our food and drink, with it being a fundamental feature of our high level of service and product. The menus served in our chalets reflect this and we think would be best described as delicious, imaginative and freshly produced. Our head chef, Richard, oversees all of our chalet chefs, ensuring that our guests receive the best quality food and dining experiences.
To get your taste buds tingling, here is an insight as to what you can expect during a stay in a catered chalet;
At breakfast, look out for home-made yoghurt with freshly made compote, an array of cereals and pastries, along with various cooked daily specials such as Eggs Benedict or pancakes.
Mouth-watering home-made cake or biscuits for afternoon tea to keep you going until dinner.
To start off your evening perfectly, sip on a Kir Royale around the roaring fire before sampling your chefs mini culinary creations such as Tempura King Prawn with Chilli, Lime & Coriander or a Braised Beef and Blue Cheese Croquet.
To make your stay one to remember, one evening you can expect to experience a mountain-themed evening, where your chef will prepare a wide range of local and French classics such as Tartiflette, Pisaladière and Baked Mont d’Or.
Our chefs are all wonderfully experienced and will be able to cater for all dietary requirements. These can be discussed prior to arrival with our Chalet Manager. If you have any special requests over and above what is included, we will endeavour to accommodate your needs, but this will be at an additional charge.
