Chalet Grand Tetras has been added to our portfolio for this winter only. The chalet has been a beautiful private residence and now her doors are open to the public. The chalet has one of the most spectacular locations in Val d'Isère with a first line view over the wonderful Manchet valley. For the interiors, think classic alpine charm with an ethnic twist. If you are looking for a more traditional chalet experience then this might be the place to choose.
The Grand Tetras building was constructed by the celebrated Val d'Isère architect Alain Perrier and combines beautiful mountain construction with one of the best locations in resort, situated just 50m from the piste. Perrier is famous for his craftsmanship and attention to detail as well as creating a special mountain atmosphere. The chalet is set up as the penthouse property on the third and fourth floors. Heavy pine beams and locally mined stone leave this property oozing charm and capturing the essence of the surrounding mountains. There are two bedrooms on the entrance level, one of which has a balcony dominated by the main Bellevard ski mountain, the other is bright and classic in it's style. Climbing to the upper level finds two further bedrooms, one of which is large and faces over the village with a shower and a bath and the other is slightly smaller but equally cute. A large open plan living and dining space is flanked by a stunning south facing covered terrace that oversees the Santons home run. This chalet works perfectly for small groups or two families where vicinity to the piste is crucial.
The chalet is self catered but with the addition of a host who will prepare and make breakfast for you and do the housekeeping on six days, and a limited driving service. There is no additional food or wine included in the service with this chalet but there is a wine list from which you can purchase bottles from our cellar if you like. There is a limited concierge service with the property that will absolutely help you with organising your ski equipment and complimentary lifts to and from the hire shops and arrange your lift passes so you don't have to queue.
