Stunning balcony views can be enjoyed right down the valley on one side, and a bubbling hot tub on the other. Chalet Margaux offers a luxurious level of convenience and comfort with ski-in, ski-out access and modern facilities.

Garage & Ground Floor: Garage parking leads into the ground floor entrance hall, with a separate ski and boot room (complete with boot heaters) and large wardrobe for ski items. There is also a utility room with washing machine and dryer.

Bedroom 1 (which can be made up as a double or twins) is located on this floor with an adjoining spacious bathroom and WC. Bedroom 5 with two sets of bunk beds is accessed through bedroom 1 making this an ideal family suite.

First Floor & Living area: Situated on the first floor, the front door and entrance hall for the chalet leads out onto the communal terrace area outside. Guests can also access the private covered terrace leading off the living room/kitchen to take advantage of the fantastic views that are available.

The spacious open plan living area has plenty of comfortable sofas as well as a log fire and large floor to ceiling windows. There is also an adjoining “coin montagne” snug area with comfortable sofas and a separate W/C. Meanwhile the large dining area with bespoke dining table is a great space for families and socialising. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with modern integrated appliances, black granite worktops, double sink and lots of cupboard space.

2nd Floor & Hot-tub: Bedrooms 2-4 are on this floor and can be made up as doubles or twins. Each is equipped with an adjoining shower room and w/c with bedroom 4 having a separate w/c. All of the bedrooms offer lovely views of the surrounding mountain area.

The hot-tub is located on this floor and accessed via a smaller room with a bed.

And the best part, apart from tantalising those tastebuds… No shopping, preparing or washing-up for you.

You will have a dedicated and professional team looking after you for the week. Our experienced chefs carefully curate their own set menus for you, using freshly prepared ingredients and their own creative flare. Our 20 years of listening to our guests has helped us hone the perfect catered chalet experience not forgetting our younger guests in the ideal meal plan.

We can cater for dietary requirements, but please let us know well in advance as sourcing some speciality products takes more time up in the mountains.

*Each catered chalet offers 5 nights of catering (this is due to restricted working hours under French law).

A delicious continental breakfast is available every morning, with the option of a cooked breakfast on 5 mornings. You can enjoy a selection of eggs, bacon, buttery croissants & heavenly French baguettes, cereals, fresh fruit & yoghurts as well as porridge on request. Beverages include freshly brewed coffee, a selection of quality teas, hot chocolate and fruit juices.

In Chalet Margaux on staff days off, fresh baguettes will be delivered from our local bakery and a continental breakfast buffet will be left for you.

One of the traditional delights of a chalet holiday is the welcome sight of a home baked cake or treat after a great day on the slopes. Afternoon tea will be laid out for you in your chalet ready for your return on the 5 catered days, or every day in The Peak.

Do let us know in advance of any birthday or special occasions so we ensure you celebrate in style.

To celebrate your arrival and each catered evening, our chefs prepare mouthwatering canapés to enjoy with some celebratory bubbles.

It’s the time to gather around the fire, relax and relive your day on the slopes with friends and family before the evening meal begins.

Food is a passion of ours shared by all our chefs. They each create a personalised menu to make the most of their talent and the local ingredients in the surrounding alpine area. The four courses including local cheeses are complemented by wines carefully selected by our sommelier at the start of each season. The meal is rounded off with some coffee, and a selection of teas.

Evening meals are provided on 5 evenings during the week, so you have the opportunity to eat out in the lovely local restaurants on 2 nights, or grab a takeaway. However, if you would like a night or two with more privacy, our chef can leave your dinner prepared and ready for you to enjoy at your leisure, just let us know; it’s your holiday after all.

Due to working hour constraints, if you arrive after 8.30pm, a lighter meal will be provided for you.

You may wish your youngsters to have an earlier dinner around 5.30/6pm -homemade, fresh and nutritious, of course! Just let us know in advance so we can inform your chalet team and tailor a menu specially for them.

However if you prefer to all eat together as a family we can arrange a simpler version of the adult meal for the children in your group. Please note that all guests must then agree on one dinner time.

From weather forecasts to best lunch spots; our chalet hosts are always pleased to help. You’ll find them unobtrusively available to assist in planning your days, ready with recommendations and to help solve any problems.

They’re also on hand to ensure that your pre-dinner drinks are topped up, canapés circulated, log fire is burning and the hot tub ready for a relaxing soak.
