Located in a private enclave in the exclusive village of Méribel, Chalet Iamato provides unrivalled panoramic views across the Méribel Valley and the option to ski back to the front door.
This grand lodge is one of our most popular chalets, home to stunning views and a welcoming atmosphere that easily sets it apart from even the most opulent hotels in the area. Here’s just a glimpse at what your stay here will be like.
We offer a number of luxury chalets in Méribel for keen skiers visiting one of France’s finest ski resorts. Each of these stand out as some of the most luxurious accommodation on offer in the Three Valleys.
Within this, Chalet Iamato is one of our most popular, thanks to its combination of stunning interior and superb location.
The luxurious Chalet Iamato is a traditional Savoyarde property and a recipient of the Tourist Office’s ‘5* Label Méribel’ award. Ideally situated close to the centre of Méribel-Village and its amenities, as well as the high speed Télésiège du Golf chairlift.
Access to the vast Three Valleys ski area couldn’t be simpler and after a day on the slopes a short detour from the village’s Lapin piste returns skiers to the front door of the chalet.
Of course, this chalet wouldn’t be held in such high esteem if it wasn’t for its beautiful interior. Set against a breath-taking backdrop of the French Alps, this chalet becomes a welcoming home away from home for guests year after year.
Chalet Iamato’s impressive South-facing sitting room features a beautifully carved wooden ceiling, huge bay windows with stunning panoramic views across the mountains, an open log fireplace, HD satellite, digital and Apple television, DVD player, music and iPod systems. The dining room features a large wooden dining table and floor-to-ceiling bay windows leading onto an expansive sun terrace.
Each of the chalets six ensuite bedrooms are individually furnished in delightful fabrics and furniture and four of the rooms have balconies overlooking the beautiful mountains. All but one of the bedrooms can be made into a double or twin and four are suitable for the inclusion of cots.
The exterior terraces feature a jacuzzi, outdoor table and chairs, sun-loungers, outdoor heaters, table tennis, table football, darts board, exterior music system and a fully stocked bar. There is also a study area equipped with telephone, fax, computer, broadband and wireless internet access. On the ground floor you’ll find a sauna, laundry room, heated ski and boot room and on-site private parking.
We pride ourselves on marrying an exemplary service with a cosy, welcoming atmosphere.
Food is an intrinsic part of any skiing holiday, and something we’re deeply passionate about. During your stay in one of our stunning ski chalets in France, you’ll receive only the finest food and wine the region has to offer. Our sumptuous menus are carefully created to ensure you receive only the finest flavours and tastes. Each one is a symbol gastronomic excellence, rivalling some of the most esteemed restaurants in the area.
Throughout the duration of your stay, you’ll return home to a bespoke menu crafted with care by a professional chef. The food served in our chalets will rival even the most esteemed local restaurants that boast the fine dining experience. Our chefs are fully trained to cater their menu to ensure everyone is included and enjoying the experience. So, irrespective of what dietary requirements you may have, you can feel safe in the knowledge that we’ll make it our responsibility to look after you.
A meal of such high quality deserves an expertly selected wine to match. As a result, we work with an experienced local sommelier to curate a range of fine French wines to complement our chef’s menu. We are uncompromising in our pursuit for bottles of superior merit, character and prestige.
Our ski chalets are for everyone, irrespective of age. This is why we’ve dedicated time into creating special children’s menus to appeal to our youngest visitors. If your child is happy and enjoying themselves, you have the opportunity to relax too. This is why we’ve gone above and beyond to ensure we look after every guest staying with us – regardless of how young.
