Perched on the cliffs overlooking the stunning Isère river gorge in Le Fornet, Chalet Vieux Pont is a wonderfully constructed luxury ski chalet with a unique riverside location and inspiring interiors. This luxury catered chalet is set over four floors and features a large open plan living and dining room with some of the most romantic Val d’Isère views. Below are five en-suite bedrooms, one of which is uniquely built directly into the rock face of the river. With a stylish swimming pool and hammam on the lowest floor and a ski in location, Chalet Vieux Pont is ideal for those looking for somewhere special and exclusive on their next luxury ski holiday.

For larger groups Chalet Vieux Pont can be combined with Chalet Rive Gauche to offer ten bedrooms and sleeping for up to 20 people.

Situated beautifully next to her sister chalet, Rive Gauche, you enter the reception area and ski room where you will find a simple space for ski storage and all important boot warmers. There is also a master en-suite bedroom which can be arranged as twin or king beds and a stunning wrap around balcony with wonderful river and mountain views. Moving down a level you will find three large king or twin en-suite bedrooms, each with their own personality and style; one contains an antique carved door headboard and the exposed rock face of the river that runs along the inside of the bedroom. Heading down again to the lowest level you will find a private bedroom with stunning views of the old bridge and a small terrace. You will also find an indoor pool with a flow machine and a relaxing steam room.

The highest floor of this luxury ski chalet contains the large open plan living and dining area. With a trio aspect there is a huge amount of light that floods into this floor. The reclaimed wood table seats ten and there is also a card and games table for four. The log fireplace is a central focus for the room and there is a large flat screen television for catching up on sporting events or just watching a movie.

Le Fornet old village is one of the most charming parts of Val d’Isère and is the perfect base to explore the Val d’Isère ski area, especially the powder stashes of the Grand Vallon.

Only 150m from the Le Fornet cable car and you can ski back to the door via the blue mangard ski run.
