#Outdoor hot tub
The adventure begins as soon as you arrive at Lodge Fauspé. In a quiet spot with stunning views over the La Balme ski area, this luxurious chalet is just a short drive from the bars, shops and restaurants of La Clusaz.
Built by local craftsmen in local reclaimed wood and Aravis stone, it cleverly combines contemporary style and comfort with mountain charm and tradition, offering light-filled rooms and cosy living areas.
Two of the bedrooms share a south-facing balcony, and there is a sunny terrace where you can enjoy a barbecue and a glass of wine on a warm evening. Soothe away the aches and pains after a hard day on the slopes in the indoor jacuzzi and sauna.
This is a unique property which knows it’s something special, and doesn’t need to shout about it!
Parties of up to 10 will find Lodge Fauspé the perfect choice for a very special holiday. Built using local materials and a lot of imagination, the owners have decorated and furnished it with just as much care. Oak floors and panelled ceilings with huge beams are complemented by leather sofas and fur throws, with unique light fittings and stunning artwork.
The well-equipped kitchen is hand-built and features unusual metal worktops. It is open to the dining room, with its custom-built table seating 10, and the large living room, with squishy leather sofas, flat screen TV and an open fire.
Large windows make the most of the light and the fabulous views, and open onto the terrace, which has a dining area and a stone-built barbecue - a great place to relax after an energetic day in the mountains. There’s also a double bedroom with en suite bathroom on this floor.
A beautiful wooden staircase winds its way around a huge pine tree trunk to the second floor, where there are four more bedrooms, sharing two bathrooms. All of the bathrooms are beautifully fitted, with handmade sinks and local stone tiles. To cap it all, well-insulated walls and geothermal heating mean there will always be a warm welcome for you at Lodge Fauspé.
Fauspe has been welcoming Chaletowners guests since 13 Aug 2014.
Before and during your stay, enjoy our bespoke services, including bakery deliveries, home chefs, half-board and Savoyard snacks, so you can make the most of your holiday.

Lodge Fauspé is superbly located, just minutes from La Clusaz and overlooking the popular La Balme ski field - a favourite with our visitors and French freeride world champion Candide Thovex.
The ski lift is a short drive away and parking is free, but if you’d rather not take the car, the ski bus stops at the end of the road, putting the whole of the Annecy ski resorts at your disposal. Your Aravis ski pass will give you access to more than 220km of perfect pistes and 95 lifts in the stations of La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand and Manigod.
Cross-country skiers and snowshoe walkers will find great terrain at the nearby Lac des Confins and the Beauregard plateau.
If you fancy a break from the pistes, La Clusaz has an ice rink, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a spa centre, and a cinema. If you’re looking for a challenge, try sledging, dog-sledding and sleigh rides, all within a few miles of your holiday home.
Lodge Fauspé is also the perfect base for the Défi Foly competition, when skiers end the season by seeing how far they can ski across the Lac des Confins!
There is no shortage of summer fun and adventure within a few minutes of Lodge Fauspé. There are plenty of gentle walks in the Lac des Confins area, where you will also find a tennis club, golf course, driving range, fishing and a riding centre.
Take the lift up into the mountains for some high-altitude hiking or biking, or try white-water rafting, canyoning, via ferrata and para-gliding in the La Clusaz area.
