Penthouse Tschugge is a wonderful 4* three bedroom apartment located in a quiet and central location in Zermatt.
The 3 bedroom apartment accommodates up to 6 pax in total. The apartment is located on the top floor of this block, with access to a terrace on the hill above, where there is a small garden with outdoor furniture, a fire pit, barbecue and terrace, as well as jacuzzi. The main living area consists of open plan living /dining/kitchen, with the wood burning stove being the centrepiece of the living area as well as the huge picture windows. The master bedroom has a Tuscan tiled ensuite bathroom, the other double bedroom and twin room share a large shower room. There is access to a South facing balcony with a grand view over the town, the 2 churches and the surrounding mountains. Views from the back of the house across Zermatt valley towards the Dom mountain are fantastic also.
The apartment has a very cosy and homely feel. It is airy and full of light with spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. All of this, along with a real log fire, creates a welcoming, comfortable and cosy atmosphere.
The house is heated with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove.
The apartment is available to rent on a self-catered basis (weekly during peak weeks or for short stays, long weekends etc). The apartment is ideal for keen skiers, and non-skiers alike. It is close to many bars, restaurants and shops, as well as the train station and the Gornergrat railway.
