Chalet Bedière is an Art Deco style 1920s mansion, nestled in the heart of Chamonix-Mt-Blanc. With its timeless style and modern comforts, this historic and unique property offers a truly exceptional retreat for up to 15 guests. Located within a short walk of the town centre and the ski slopes of Savoy/Brevent it's the perfect base for discovering Chamonix and the incredible valley around it. 6 spacious en-suite bedrooms sleep up to 15 in comfort.
Chalet Bedière features a huge open plan living and dining room with it's own in-house bar for the perfect entertaining space, and commercial level kitchen facilities. Upstairs there are 4 double bedrooms all with their own ensuite. Each room can be set up as a twin or zipped together as king size doubles. The double on the top floor in the eaves also has an extra 2 mattresses suitable for children. In the basement there is another double room with its own ensuite, and a bunk room sleeping up to 5 people, again with its own ensuite facilities. The basement also offers a large flexible space that can be used as a games room, yoga/fitness area or kids playroom / TV room. There is also a large ski locker room with heated boot dryer.
The chalet's location ensures access on foot to the slopes, but 2 underground parking spaces and 2 overground spaces allow cars to be parked to access the whole of the valley.
The chalet has undergone extensive improvements in 2023 with a complete new roof, new triple glazed windows and doors, and a complete new boiler and heating system. The refurbishment has however kept the chalet’s original character keeping the memories of the last 100 years! You may see some wear in the Venetian plaster walls and the retained original parquet flooring, but this is intended to retain its original character whilst ensuring it is up to all modern standards expected in such a Mansion in Chamonix.
La Bediere has been welcoming Chalet Owners guests since 2025.
