Chalet Lottie is truly unique. A former farm house, this chalet has been transformed into an utterly amazing Alpine home whilst maintaining the authenticity of its Swiss farmland roots. An original farm house dating from 1867, this one-of-a-kind property has been transformed into an iconic luxury Alpine home. A plethora of original features have been retained, including the authentic wooden beams and panelling.

Sumptuous fabrics, modern furnishings, beautiful sculptures, and striking art have been combined with aged woods, natural stones, and traditional Swiss details to create a chic property at the height of style and comfort. The property has two indoor parking spaces in the private garage and three external spaces to keep up to five vehicles safe at all times.

Chalet Lottie boasts 650 sqm of sophisticated living over three floors and sleeps up to 14 guests. Extensive entaintainment spaces include a stunning 70sqm drawing room with large fire place and double height wooden beamed ceiling. The formal dinning room can sit up to 20 guests for the most sumptuous dinner parties. A second living room, also with open fireplace, leads to a more informal breakfast/dining room and kitchen. The seven bedrooms have all natural stone tiled en-suite bathrooms. To relax after a busy day of skiing or hiking, there is the cinema room or outside jacuzzi or sauna and for the more energetic a gym. There is a double garage and 5 additional outdoor parking spaces.

Lottie has been welcoming Chalet Owners guests since 2015.

If you choose an all inclusive service package, you will be looked after by a team of highly trained professionals, each selected for excellence in their field, attention to detail and discretion. The following services will be provided:

– A highly qualified professional chef to prepare breakfast, after-ski snacks and dinner. The chef will work with you or your staff to create perfect menus throughout your stay, be it a seven course gourmet meal or something light and healthy;
– You will be able to choose from an extensive wine list to complement the menu;
– A dedicated chauffeur and vehicle;
– A chalet manager and several chalet hosts to look after you from early morning till late;
– Daily cleaning;
– Concierge services for booking activities, restaurants etc.

If you prefer total privacy, you might prefer to book the chalet without those services (daily cleaning will still be provided) or bring your own staff. Further services can be arranged on request, such as: ski instructions, ski guiding, heli-skiing, heli-sightseeing trips, childcare…..

Less than a 10-minute drive from the iconic centre of Gstaad, Chalet Lottie’s secluded position is perfect for someone seeking a high degree of privacy and security. Nestling in the traditional farmland, above the exclusive hamlet of Lauenen it provides breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.

The Lauenen village has remained its authenticity of an alpine farming community, all the building are in the traditional wooden chalet style. The village offers a choice of three charming restaurants, offering the local fare, obviously including cheese fondue, raclette and roesti.

A walk to the beautiful Lauenensee (lake) is a must, stunning views of waterfalls and forests. In the winter you can be taken there by romantic horse drawn carriage. Thoughtout the valley are many miles of hiking and mountain biking paths. Some of the best ski touring or snow-shoe trips are to be found on the hillsides here. Lauenen has its own ski lift for beginner and medium skiers.
