With arguably the best views in town and all the luxury features you could ever wish for, Chalet Goldilocks is a truly exciting new addition to our portfolio. While such an enviable location usually comes with a heavy toll on already tired legs, Goldilocks is just a 10-minute walk from the centre of town and the Super Morzine lift, whisking you up to the snow-sure pistes of Avoriaz in no time at all.

The owners of Goldilocks spent months looking at property in Morzine but couldn’t find anything that ticked all the boxes. They knew exactly what they wanted – sunshine, glorious views and walking distance to town – but they simply couldn’t find it. They returned home disheartened and then by pure chance were offered a plot of land right next to where they had stayed for many years previously. Fast forward three years and Goldilocks (and her smaller sister Three Bears) opened their doors to guests for the first time.

On entering the chalet and walking past the boot room, you can take the elevator up to the first floor for the fully-equipped gym, or continue to the second floor and into the heart of the chalet. The huge state-of-the-art cinema room comfortably seats 12 and features a cocktail bar across the back wall, with extra seating in the form of bar stools. On the same floor you will find a large bunk room that sleeps four, complete with an en suite bathroom. The four en suite double bedrooms on the next floor all feature balconies for when you want to enjoy the spectacular views in private.

The top floor comprises the open-plan kitchen/dining area, with steps leading up to a large mezzanine lounge with comfortable seating, a large screen TV and log fire. Floor-to-ceiling windows make the most of views across town to the mountains beyond and the slopes of the Pleney. A large wrap around balcony with a dining table and plenty of comfy seating is perfect for a spot of al fresco dining in the summer, or for enjoying a few apres ski drinks and watching the sunset. The landscaped garden area out the back of the chalet is the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes, with a large hot tub, barrel sauna and fire pit to enjoy.

We are huge fans of cinema rooms in luxury ski chalets and the one in Goldilocks certainly does not disappoint. This is so much more than just a massive TV in a darkened room – this is a proper cinema room with plenty of comfy seating and incredible surround sound, topped off with a huge cocktail bar across the back wall. Mix up a couple of Manhattans, relax and enjoy the latest Hollywood blockbuster in true style. Or grab a cuppa, snuggle up and binge on your favourite Netflix show. For those nights when you are just too tired to drag yourself off to the hot tub.

Goldilocks is the perfect base to enjoy everything that Morzine and the larger Portes du Soleil have to offer. We are sure it will be incredibly popular with our guests all-year-round and for many years to come. Goldilocks is perfect rented on it’s own for groups of up to 12 people, or in connection with Three Bears where you have a combined capacity of up to 20 people.

The large kitchen/diner and living room are split across two levels on the top floor of the chalet. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer uninterrupted views right across town to the mountains beyond. How could you ever tire of looking at that?

Our luxury Self-Catered ski holidays give you the same support that you would experience on a full service package whilst keeping you in control. Each holiday is tailor-made to you and overseen by our local resort teams. You ski. We deliver.

Our Breakfast & Driving service is the perfect complement to your luxury property rental. The service is discrete but has been specifically designed to cover all the core service elements that we find make the difference during a luxury holiday. This means you can simply unwind with family and friends, enjoying your property as it was intended.
The service is led by a House Manager who will act as a direct point of contact during your stay. Each morning they will lay out a continental breakfast for you to enjoy at your leisure before providing a driving service making it easy for you to get to the slopes. When you return to the property they will ensure that all the facilities are ready for you to use including maintaining the spa and laying up the fireplace ready for the evening. Each evening they can also provide a restaurant taxi service, or simply help you pick up a take-away to enjoy back at the property. The Manager is supported by two Hosts who will provide a daily housekeeping service and also cover the Manager on their days off.

Our Relaxed Catered service has been carefully crafted to meet the needs of the modern traveller and is specifically designed to complement the rental of our luxury private chalets. The service is discrete with a small team so you can still enjoy the privacy of a private holiday rental. It is led by a House Manager who will act as a direct point of contact during your stay. Each day they will set out a delicious breakfast to kick start your day with pastries, cereals, yoghurts and fresh fruits – there will also be selected hot options prepared by your Chef. The team will then be on hand to provide a private driving service – so accessing the slopes is as easy as ever. When you return to the chalet you’ll find afternoon tea set out for you to enjoy and on five evenings during the week your Chef will prepare a three course dinner.

Chalet Goldilocks really couldn’t be better placed. Spectacular views and a feeling of privacy, all within an easy 10-minute walk of the centre of Morzine and its fantastic restaurants, bars and shops. The Super Morzine lift is just across the footbridge, which makes getting up to the snow-sure slopes of Avoriaz a breeze. A further five-minute stroll, even in ski boots, brings you to the Pleney lift, granting access to the beautiful Morzine-Les Gets ski area.
