Isolated from all contact with the outside world, you can spend a holiday dedicated to relaxation and well-being, enveloped only by the unspoilt beauty of nature. In a fairytale location, surrounded by the idyllic and dreamy atmosphere of the woods, you will find an elegant and refined Chalet where you can enjoy the utmost comfort.

Villa Carolina is a mountain chalet located in Selva di Val Gardena in one of the most secluded and exclusive spots in the valley. Surrounded by greenery and far from all noise, you will experience the feeling of being in direct contact with nature, while enjoying all the comfort of a luxury villa.

Spread over three floors, Villa Carolina has four double bedrooms, with exclusive access to the bathroom, and one twin bedroom. The two floors of the villa, on which there are two modern open-plan and fully equipped kitchens, communicating with the living room area with a large sofa and dining table, both enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding nature of the Dolomites.

Our rooms are designed to meet every need. The spacious balconies and surrounding garden will allow you to have an immersive experience of pure relaxation. After a day outdoors, you can relaxin the sauna or outdoor whirlpool or sit by the fire in one of the indoor or outdoor fireplaces gazing at the stars. The relaxation rooms at Chalet Villa Carolina are designed to give you the best possible wellness experience. Our private sauna will give you the opportunity to refresh yourself at the end of the day. In the Whirlpool you can immerse yourself in a dreamlike setting, surrounded by nature and overlooking a timeless natural landscape crowned by the majestic peaks of the Sassolungo.

Enjoy a sunset with a Jacuzzi in front of one of the world's best-known natural spectacles. The fireplaces in our garden will help create a soft atmosphere at dusk, where you can sip tea, wrapped in a warm blanket, and admire the clear, starry sky of our mountains.

In the underground area there is a heated garage with five parking spaces, which can be accessed directly from the Chalet via an internal staircase. Here you can also deposit your skis in the ski room.

In one's routine, it is essential to devote oneself fully to body and soul. At Chalet Villa Carolina, your wellbeing does not go on holiday: you can continue to train in a private setting designed to allow everyone to exercise in comfort. You will find here all the gym equipment with mats and weights for free-body exercises.

Chalet Villa Carolina is an ideal place to dedicate yourself to Yoga and Pilates. Surrounded by greenery in summer and snow-covered forests in winter, you can free your mind by dedicating yourself to meditation and exercise. Surrounded by meadows and forests, you can discover your surroundings with a jog or a brisk walk. The splendid nature of Val Gardena is in itself a source of regeneration!

The South Tyrolean gastronomic tradition is establishing itself as one of the most interesting to rediscover, both by virtue of its raw materials and the more modern explorations that some local restaurants are making of it. We advise our guests to immerse themselves in the Ladin tradition by savouring some typical dishes of our rural tradition, such as dumplings with goulash, 'crafuncins' (spinach crescents), 'Spätzle', 'Grosti y craut' or typical desserts such as Strudel and apple fritters.

In the Vives restaurant in Ortisei you can savour all these recipes and many more in an intimate and comfortable ambience. In the Tubladel restaurant, on the other hand, you will find the quality of refined cuisine in a typical mountain atmosphere. For a very special experience, we also recommend the gourmet pizza at the Turonda restaurant in Ortisei.

Closer to Chalet Villa Carolina you will instead find the La Posta restaurant, recommended for meat lovers. For a truly unique experience, we recommend booking a dinner at Paratoni, where you can enjoy a set menu with several traditional local dishes. In Selva di Val Gardena you can also dine at La Tambra for excellent meat and pizza.

But the new frontiers of gastronomy also move to our favourite peaks: for an unforgettable experience we recommend the Baita Sofie restaurant with panoramic views of the famous Fermedes. On the other hand, at Passo Sella, Baita Comici will serve you excellent fish dishes, from raw fish to first courses, enjoying a truly unique experience at the foot of Sassolungo. Another secret and exclusive refuge is Il Fienile Monte, the new annex of the Salei refuge.

For passionate skiers, there is no better home than the Villa Carolina. Directly from the villa, you can reach the Col Raiser cable car and train in not even 2 minutes of driving (400m) and take on the world-famous Sellaronda, which offers over 1.200km of ski slopes. On top, the renown world cup slope Saslong, which also takes you to the Sellaronda, is also located only 2 minutes (500m) of driving from the house. The best part has yet to come: on your way home, you will be able to ski right to the Villa Carolina, as the Plan da Tieja slope will take you 100m from your doorstep.
