Modern in design with the chalet’s various levels going down from the main entrance and boot room. Access to the chalet has been specifically designed to allow for guests with limited mobility: there is ramp access to the front door and a private internal lift between floors, in addition to the stairs.
The large sitting/dining room has an atmospheric fireplace and wood oven, as well as its own terrace. The adjacent kitchen/dinner is fully equipped and has a big table where everyone can eat together, as well as a terrace which looks at the Matterhorn. Tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard, the chalet’s owner is right to be proud of his collection of paintings and drawings that adorn the chalet’s walls. Next to the front door, there is a ski room with a heated boot rack. On the chalet’s bottom level there is an extensive “wellness” area with, in addition to a 10m heated swimming pool with Matterhorn view, a sauna, shower and equipped exercise area/gym. The bedrooms and main sitting room have cable TV, whilst the chalet has its own private wifi network. All bathrooms/showers have hairdryers and there are safes in all the bedrooms.

Our English speaking team is on hand to look after you and during your stay with us, our priority is to make you feel at home in your chalet.
Every day in the chalet begins with a hearty Swiss-style breakfast which includes a hot dish, and on your return from the slopes in the afternoon, tea and cakes will be waiting for you.
Later, pre-dinner drinks and canapés are served after which, our chef invites you to take your places for dinner, signaling the start of a four course culinary event to excite the taste buds and indulge the appetite.
As well as a choice of minerals and soft drinks, we serve our specially selected house wines as an accompaniment to your dinner although if you prefer, you can make a selection from our attractive wine list which boasts a small but tempting collection of vintages from the locality and from further afield. At any time however, you can help yourself to hot and cold drinks which are freely available in the chalet.
On your arrival, you should feel free to discuss the week’s menu with the chef who will do his best to please during the six evenings you are in his charge. Wherever possible, the chef will be pleased to cater for special dietary requirements or children’s meals. The seventh being your opportunity to sample the gastronomic delights that this exceptional resort has to offer in one of its many and varied restaurants. Waldhaus Restaurant is located across the road with many other local possibilities.

Situated in the desirable Winkelmatten area of the resort, it is a 5 minute walk to the Matterhorn Express gondola and it is possible to ski back to within 100m of the door (or less) for much of the winter. 15 minute walk to the village centre but the frequent local bus stops close to the chalet.
