This grand and luxurious chalet in Morzine has one of the biggest gardens in Morzine and a glass lift that makes it an accessible property for all generations of your family. Arriving at Chalet Écliptique in Morzine, you’ll find yourself on the top level thanks to its hillside design. Step inside and you enter the heart of the chalet: the stunning lounge. This room is a showstopper, with massive picture windows that frame the mountains like living artwork. There are cathedral wood ceilings and a modern wood-burning fireplace that crackles away, creating the perfect après-ski atmosphere for evenings together with your friends or family.

Just a couple of steps down from the lounge is an open-plan dining area. Here, you’ll find a large table perfect for lazy breakfasts or candlelit dinners, with sliding doors opening onto a sunny terrace. There’s a built-in wine display cabinet that holds up to 180 bottles, and bold modern art pieces that give the space a chic, contemporary feel. The sleek, modern kitchen has Gaggenau appliances, including two rotisserie ovens, a built-in coffee machine and a refrigerated drinks drawer.

In winter, Chalet Écliptique is staffed by our friendly hosts. Our team will serve you continental breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drinks, with our menu of Champagne, fine wines, beers, hot drinks and soft drinks included in the price. Our hosts will take care of your housekeeping while you are out on the ski slopes, and our on-call 24-hour driver service is also included with a hosted stay. This means we can take you anywhere in Morzine and Les Gets, as well as the Ardent and Prodains ski lifts to give you easy access to Avoriaz.

Head down the stairs or catch the lift down to level two and you’ll find a games room and bar area, complete with a pool table, bar stools and a TV. The pool table can be converted into a games table, with benches for gathering the family around for a games night. From the bar, doors open out onto a large terrace with plenty of seating and uninterrupted views across the entire village. It’s a truly special spot to soak in the scenery and watch the skiers on Pleney’s slopes. ‘Ecliptique’ means the path of the sun, and you’ll find this chalet in Morzine has full sunshine from morning until night.

A few steps take you to a deck with a hot tub, which seats up to 10 people, so pop on the SONOS speaker and enjoy. A few more steps down take you to a firepit area – marshmallows optional, but encouraged – and beyond that a large lawn area, making this south-facing garden one of the most impressive in Morzine.

Level two is also home to three gorgeous bedrooms. Bedroom 3 is a stylish queen with a dressing table and a big picture window overlooking the village. The en-suite is beautiful and has a walk-in shower, statement sink and a separate enclosed WC. Just across the hall, there’s also a handy additional WC with a sink. Bedroom 2 is great for families or groups, featuring a custom-built double bed with two full-size single bunks above it. It’s got access to a terrace and an en-suite with twin sinks, a walk-in shower and WC. The showpiece on this floor is bedroom 1 – the master suite. With a window seat perfectly positioned in front of another huge picture window, you’ll never tire of the views. There’s a queen bed, TV and a dressing table, and the en-suite features twin sinks and a walk-in shower. There is also a door leading out to a secluded terrace and garden area.
Cinema session or time in the gym?

On the lower level, luxury takes a more serene turn. A cinema room with a starlit ceiling, plush sofas and bean bags invites you to kick back with a film after a day in the mountains. Alternatively, get in a fitness session in the glass-walled gym, which has yoga mats, a Peloton bike and a Peloton running machine. The views will keep you motivated (or at least distracted) while you work out. There’s also a beautiful hammam on this level – ideal for a post-ski steam – and a well-equipped laundry area with a sink, washing machine and dryer.

Two more bedrooms complete this floor. Bedroom 5 feels like something out of a boutique hotel, with a freestanding copper bathtub in the room and a gorgeous sun terrace offering jaw-dropping views of the village and mountains. It’s got a queen bed and an en-suite with a WC, sink and a walk-in shower. Bedroom 4 also has a custom-built double bed, en-suite shower room, and direct access to a lovely terrace area with comfy seating – the perfect peaceful nook for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Outside, there is a covered carport with space for two vehicles, plus two vehicles parked in front of the chalet. There is also a boot and bike room by the front door with a handy dog wash area (essential after muddy mountain walks in summer). This separate space also has boot dryers to ensure your ski boots are warm and dry before each day’s adventure.

Chalet Écliptique is self-catered in the summer. In winter, it is a hosted chalet, with the option to book it as a self-catered chalet on request.

If you’d like the flexibility of eating out or cooking dinner yourself, our option could be the perfect solution. You won't have a chef in your chalet to cook evening meals, but you will have our friendly team of hosts to look after your group, so you can simply relax!

Our hosts will prepare a continental breakfast, serve afternoon tea and serve evening drinks five days a week, including Champagne and fine wines. We’ll take care of the housekeeping, too. Our on-call 24-hour driver service is also included throughout your stay. We’ll take you to the ski lifts, pick you up from restaurants and help you easily get around Morzine and neighbouring Les Gets.

Set on the sunny side of the valley (Super Morzine side), Chalet Écliptique has an elevated position to give it great views over the village and Pleney slopes. It is a 13-minute walk to Super Morzine lift and the bars and restaurants in the centre of Morzine. It is a 15-minute walk from The Dixie Bar and the old town part of Morzine. It is a 20-minute walk to Pleney lift.

When booked in winter as a hosted chalet, our on-call 24-hour driver service is included. Our team of drivers can be contacted by phone or WhatsApp at any time, day or night, and can take you anywhere in Morzine or Les Gets. Our drivers can also take you to Lac de Montriond, Ardent lift or Prodains lift, making it easy to ski Avoriaz, as well as Morzine and Les Gets, during your ski holiday.
