#Outdoor hot tub
Chalet Rosko in Tignes les Brévières is a recently built modern chalet constructed in the traditional mountain style using stone and wood. The chalet is very airy and spacious, with lots of light and large windows, and benefits from commanding views over the mountains and village. The bedrooms are spacious and all have an en-suite bathroom with WC. The living and dining areas are have plenty of room but remain sociable making the chalet particularly suitable for families or larger groups who will enjoy the hot-tub, games area and the cosy lounge with its log-burning stove.
Inside the chalet is constructed over four floors with a mix of bedrooms and communal areas. There is a large and very well lit dining area with adjacent lounge and plenty of sofas for socialising. A wood burning stove completes the chalet ambience. On the ground floor there is a large boot room, with heated boot warmers, and ample room to change into ski clothing and boots. This area also contains a games room with a pool table and television area, as well as lounge area with TV and games console. This is particularly useful for distracting children so the adults can enjoy their après ski drinks in peace. There is also a sauna area plus access to the outside hot-tub which has views over the lake and mountains.
On the upper floors the bedrooms are very spacious with en-suite bathrooms. Accommodation is all on the upper two floors, ideal for group bookings. No rooms adjoin social areas nor have people walking past them to get to other areas within the chalet. Internally the décor is predominantly wood and stone, with a spacious and airy feel to the building.
Outside, many of the rooms and the shared living areas open onto wrap-around balconies so the peaceful and idyllic setting can be fully appreciated. There is also an outside hot-tub with views over the mountains and village. Whilst the chalet is a modern building it has been built using plenty of local wood and stone respecting the local architectural style.
A dedicated team of hosts and chefs will ensure that your stay is enjoyable, comfortable and hassle free. A hot breakfast every morning, afternoon tea with freshly made cakes and biscuits and a five course meal on six evenings of the week with free-flowing quality French bottled wine mean that you’ll be well fuelled for your days out.
Chalet Rosko offers flexible accommodation and living areas over 4 floors, with enough options to suit a variety of group sizes from a couple to a full chalet booking of 20 people.
All of our rooms can be configured as a double or twin room, and every room has an en suite shower or bathroom with WC. All but one of the rooms are mountain facing with access to the wrap around communal balcony.
On the entrance floor is the communal dining area where all guests get to enjoy a 5 course meal 6 nights of the week, as well as breakfast and afternoon tea. At the end of the large open dining area there is lounge area, with wood-burning stove and plenty of sofas for socializing. These are big enough to fit your whole group for pre or after-dinner drinks or to enjoy your afternoon tea after a long day.
Downstairs on the ground floor you will find a generously proportioned ski and boot room with heated boot warmers. There is also a games area with table-football, a pool table and a video games/television corner. The sauna has an area to hang your towels and robes and has access to the outdoor hot tub just outside the chalet.
Above the entrance floor the second and third floors have the bedrooms in various configurations outlined in the rooming table. All rooms have modern and well-appointed en-suite bathrooms with WC. The rooms are notably spacious for a chalet in this part of the Alps and all have tables, hanging space and most have access to the outside wrap-around balcony. All are well-lit and have pleasant views over the village and local mountains. On the top floor there is a very large family room which can sleep up to five people.
Rosko has been welcoming Chaletowners guests since 13 Nov 2018.

A packed lunch can be ordered for a small fee each day and will be prepared for you to pick up at breakfast if you are going on a day trip or just want to save money on the mountain.
Children, vegetarians, vegans and special diets are all catered for. Just let us know at the time of booking and the menu can be discussed further with your chef and hosts on arrival. If you have specific requirements (vegan, allergies, celiac) we would ask that you let us know sometime in advance so we can prepare and to bring any special foods with you as many of them can be very hard to source in France.
Chef’s night off is normally on a Tuesday when the hotel staff have some well deserved time off. Our staff will be happy to recommend some of the many excellent restaurants in the village.
