Perched on the cliffs overlooking the stunning Isère river gorge in Le Fornet, Chalet Rive Gauche is a wonderfully constructed luxury ski chalet with a unique location and inspiring interiors. Five bedrooms spread across four floors, this luxury catered chalet has a spectacular living and dining space which catches the last of the Val d’Isère evening sun. An indoor swimming pool, hammam and ski in location spoils skiers looking for something special on their next luxury ski holiday.

For larger groups Chalet Rive Gauche can be combined with Chalet Vieux Pont, to offer ten bedrooms and sleeping for up to 20 people.

Situated beautifully next to her sister chalet, Vieux Pont, you enter this luxury chalet into the entrance reception and ski room where there is a simple place for ski storage and all important boot warmers. On this level discover the indoor swimming pool with flow system and a Moroccan steam room with one of the best views in Val d’Isère, overlooking the river and the old bridge. Moving to the first floor you will find the main sleeping area where most of the bedrooms are located. Three of these rooms are king or twin bedrooms and are flexible on how they are configured. They benefit from mainly west facing views to catch the evening sun. There is also a small room that contains fixed adult sized, fixed reclaimed wood bunk beds, with its own wash space and toilet opposite.

The second floor has one of the most impressive spaces in this luxury chalet, with a huge living and dining area that can easily entertain large numbers of friends and family. With double-height windows, huge amounts of light flood onto this floor. There is an outside terrace overlooking the river and the mountains of the Italian border. The reclaimed wood table seats ten and there is also a games or breakfast table for four. The log fireplace is a central focus for the room and there is a large flat screen television for catching up on sporting events or just watching a movie. On the top floor there is another en-suite bedroom which can be arranged with a king or twin beds.

Le Fornet old village is one of the most charming parts of Val d’Isère and is the perfect base to explore the Val d’Isere ski area, especially the powder stashes of the Grand Vallon.

This beautiful property is perched on the rocks above the river Isere and is perfectly located at the bottom of the blue mangard ski run, only 150m from the cable car. Ski back to the door.
