High above Zermatt, in the heart of Findeln in the Sunnegga ski area, lies the Gmachje – a cosy tiny chalet perfectly nestled within the picturesque Alpine landscape. This extraordinary accommodation, with its stunning views of the Matterhorn, offers direct ski-in/ski-out access during the winter and is the ideal retreat for those seeking peace, nature, and unspoilt beauty. It’s perfect for a couple or a small family wanting to enjoy the authentic "chalet" experience.

Designed with great attention to detail, the Gmachje spans three floors, providing a unique sanctuary in the heart of nature. The chalet can comfortably accommodate maximum of either 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 children.

On the top floor, you'll find the cosy sleeping area with a comfortable double bed. An open gallery leads to three additional sleeping spaces, accessed via a charming wooden ladder. This floor also features the toilet and shower, as well as practical storage space.

The middle floor houses a premium equipped kitchen with a cosy seating area, perfect for cooking and relaxing together. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine, complete with capsules. Should you prefer to dine out, excellent mountain restaurants such as Chez Vrony, Enzian, and Findlerhof are located nearby and are open during the operating hours of the cable cars.

The ground floor offers an inviting living lounge with a fireplace – the perfect spot to unwind after a day of mountain activities. A television provides entertainment, and on all floors, you'll find Sonos speakers for the perfect sound experience. Naturally, Wi-Fi is available, ensuring you can stay connected at all times.

On warmer winter days, the terrace in front of the Gmachje invites you to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Matterhorn and the surrounding Alps. A stone seating area, a barbecue, a sunshade, and two comfortable loungers are provided so you can fully embrace the sunshine.

Of course, we take care of your luggage transport to Findeln during the winter season. Upon arrival, your luggage will be delivered directly to the Gmachje once the slopes close, and upon departure, it will be collected before the slopes open, where it will then be available for collection at the Sunnegga valley station. Additionally, during the winter, upon request, we are happy to take care of your grocery shopping before your arrival, so everything is ready for you when you get there.
