Very rare in Zermatt, Chalet Kemaura is free-standing, wood-clad, set in its own private garden, on a quiet hillside with easy access to the street.

With 750m2 spread across multiple floors with a private lift, the chalet features bright open-plan living areas, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sunny south-facing terraces. The elegant living room has several different spaces to snuggle in, a Steinway grand piano, and a central fireplace. The large dining area and island bar make it ideal for catered dinners or relaxed evenings after exploring Zermatt’s ski slopes.

All seven bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, high-end furnishings, and balconies or terraces overlooking either the Matterhorn or the village.

At the heart of the property lies its impressive private swimming-pool, spa and wellness area. The heated indoor swimming pool extends toward the mountain landscape, complemented by a fireplace, a sauna, a steam room, and an outdoor relaxation terrace —perfect for unwinding after a day on Zermatt’s world-class ski pistes or hiking trails. For those seeking further indulgence, a dedicated massage treatment room and fitness area are thoughtfully integrated into the design.

From the street level entrance you go through a stunning antler-lined tunnel to the private lift which serves all three main floors. The ground floor is where the swimming-pool and spa are located, as well as the two twin / double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

The first floor is comprised of two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and Matterhorn views, and three double-bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and Zermatt village views.

The top floor has the large living room and open-plan kitchen. There is a cosy TV room / library with its own fireplace, and a guest toilet.

The nearest shops / restaurants / bars are 360m away – a 6 minute walk. The Matterhorn Express gondola lift station is also an easy 500m 9-minute walk.

Because it’s so much easier having our staff do your shopping, carrying, cooking, serving and washing-up! Plus the quality of the meals you will taste with our gourmet catering service will be on par, if not better from the meals you will get in any restaurant in Zermatt. Prepared by your dedicated personal chef, cooking just for you, in your chalet!

Our chefs are carefully chosen not only for their superior skills and experience, but also for their friendly, flexible and approachable nature. All have extensive restaurant experience, and many have trained in Michelin starred establishments. You can of course have your menus tailored to your likes and we will be glad to take into account any special requirements such as gluten intolerance.

The chalet booked for 7 nights on a catered basis include daily cleaning, midweek linen changes (with other changes available on request) and the following catering services for six days out of seven based on a pre-trip menu consultation.
