Merle Blanc is a wonderful newly renovated chalet located right on Le Moulin nursery slopes. During the winter season Le Moulin is perfect for beginner skiers and during the Summer season it becomes a par 3 golf course.
The chalet sleeps 10 people over 3 floors and is ideal for a large group or for families.
The main entrance is on the middle floor and leads to a welcoming and sociable open plan living area with an open fireplace and picture windows giving phenomenal views of the Combin mountain range. There is dining area for ten and a brand new fully fitted open plan kitchen. The lounge leads on to a large wrap around south facing balcony.
There are 2 bedrooms on the top floor; the master double with en-suite bathroom, a second double/twin bedroom with its own shower room. The ground floor offers two further double bedrooms and a twin room/ TV Lounge with a family bathroom.
There is a further separate entrance on the ground floor leading straight in to the ski room with heated boot warmer.
Access to the 4 Valleys ski area is very straight forward. It is a short walk to Le Rouge piste (approx. 300m) and then you can use the magic carpet and the Poma Lift to head towards the Mayentzet chair lift. Alternatively, you can walk to the Brunet bus stop where you can catch a bus to Carrefour and then ski across to the Mayentzet chair lift. Also you are able to take the bus to Medran (main ski area) or one stop to Savoleyre.
Route back to the chalet after your ski day is down the Rouge, below Carrefour walk across the road at Brunet along to the nursery slope where you put your skis back on and ski into the garden of Merle Blanc.
